moyergirl@charter.net BioI live in NC. Am a teacher by training but am not teaching right now - Instead I write for a living and I do mean a living - not money but just the sheer joy of doing what I love to do -that is life! The money would be nice too but for now, I just keep waiting...
I'm married, and have 2 grown children and 4 GRAND children. They call me Ahni (ah - knee)and my hubby is BopBop!
If you were to ask me some things I love that are not already mentioned on my other blogs or my website I'd say - I love to ride on the back of a pickup truck! You know like around our property or at the campground where we once lived. I love taking a pickup (an old clunker one especially) out for a load of mulch and driving it home again. Don't ask me why because I really don't know unless it has something to do with sort of living off the land when I was a child.
I love used bookstores, consignment stores, and flea markets. (Used things have so much history!) I love decorating and prefer an eglectic mix of elements with color tying it all together - rather than having perfectly matched sets of furniture and fabrics. It's important to me to feel like my home and its furnishing are one of a kind.
I love reading, writing and hanging out with writers! And I enjoy encouraging new writers to dive in there and go for it!
I'm not sure why I'm starting another blog - I think it has something to do with having to log in to comment on other folks entries. And maybe looking for more connections to writers and lovers of children's literature.
